2026 Summer Reading Farmers Market

Market Information

WCPL will host the Summer Reading Farmers Market at SOKY Center’s pavilion the summer of 2026, and we would love for you apply.

The market will be a vibrant and welcoming space where local farmers, makers, and community members come together to showcase products, share stories and foster connections. The market provides more than just a place to shop – it’s an opportunity for the public to support small businesses, learn from local experts, and engage with neighbors.

Whether shoppers are looking for fresh produce, handmade goods, or unique artisan products, they will find something special here every week. We want folks to come through the market and be able to get all the ingredients they need for a full meal. We invite people to come for the produce and stay for the community!

Market Application

This application form is for produce or dairy farmers, flower or plant growers, bakers, and other food-related product vendors wanting to participate in the weekly market taking place Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, from June 6 through August 1.

We will begin accepting applications in late November. Applicants will be notified in late March (at the latest).

NOTE: The application form for other types of vendors will be opened February 3.

Summer Market Series

The Summer Reading Market is more than a farmers market—it’s a celebration of community, healthy living, and the joy of reading. Hosted under the SOKY Center Pavilion during the warmer months, the market brings together local growers, makers, and library programming in one lively, family-friendly space.
