SUMMARY:WKU PBS presents Jonesville: When Sunflowers Fall @ The Capitol
DESCRIPTION:(All Ages) This WKU PBS Documentary explores the realities a
 nd costs of urban renewal through the story of Jonesville\, a community
 founded by African American Civil War veterans near Bowling Green\, KY.
 Jonesville was seized and dismantled in the 1960s to make way for the ex
 pansion of Western Kentucky University. WKU PBS and the Kentucky Folklif
 e Program partnered with Jonesville residents and descendants to tell th
 is story and ensure their voices and experiences are heard. After the fi
 lm\, there will be a panel discussion\, moderated by Barbara Deeb\, with
  esteemed guests Alice Gatewood Waddell\, Akisa Townsend Eaton\, Gary Ra
 nsdell\, Davarian Baldwin\, and David Horace Greer.\n\n&nbsp\;
