WCPL Services
At the Warren County Public Library, we are proud to offer many services to our patrons.

Educational Delivery makes the rounds to local schools, daycares, and after-school programs, delivering books and audiovisual materials to supplement and enhance these programs.

Reference assistance is available at the library or 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through Ask Why KY.

Our Home Delivery Service brings materials to patrons who are unable to come to the library due to illness, physical disability or limited mobility. They make sure no patron is without something interesting or entertaining to read, watch, or listen to while home bound.

If we don't have an item you're looking for in the collection, our Interlibrary Loan librarian will try and find it for you from another library.

And there's more; FAX, Notary, Computer Use and Access, and Copier services are all available to our patrons.

Please click on the categories to the left for more in depth information on these services, or, if you don't find what you need, please call the library.

Educational Services Delivery ProgramEducational Services car

This free service, available year-round, delivers materials on regularly scheduled visits to local schools, daycares, and after-school programs.

Teachers and group leaders can request a
selection of topical books and audiovisual materials to support curriculum needs or a collection of age-appropriate books for recreational reading in the classroom. Materials will be checked out to a classroom library card and can stay at your site for two weeks at a time.

For more information about the program or to find out how to include your organization in a delivery rotation, contact Robyn Murphy, Educational Services Coordinator, via phone (mornings: 781-4882; afternoons: 535- 2548) or e-mail robynm@warrenpl.org.

To request these services, please print out this form.

REFERENCE SERVICES

Warren County Public Library Reference Librarians are ready to help you. You can call the Main Library at (270) 781-4882 x215, email refdesk@warrenpl.org or use the form on the Research Help page and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Ask Why KYAsk Why KY is a virtual reference service that allows questions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Kentuckians can go on-line and "chat" with a knowledgeable and highly trained reference librarian. Questions can also be submitted via e-mail. Within minutes, questions can be researched and a real answer from a trustworthy source can be sent directly to your computer.

OCLC, a worldwide library cooperative based in Ohio, makes the 24/7 service possible. When local librarians aren’t on duty, OCLC librarians pick up the questions and provide answers.
